My Bible Plans

Personal Project

I built My Bible Plans as a personal project to let anyone create a customized Bible readings plan and then follow it be email or RSS.

Why?

I’ve benefited from reading the Bible all-the-way through on a plan for over 2 years now. It’s so great! And I didn’t see another web-based Bible reading plan app out there, so I built one.

Technologies: Ruby on Rails

Design: Josh!

(Note: I’ve just launched it and plan to continue to develop it. If you log on, I’d love to hear your feedback)

Tag the Bible

Tag the Bible

Tag the Bible is a personal Ruby on Rails project I built for myself to being making keyword collections of Bible verses.

When you logon you begin in ‘public mode’, where all my tags are viewable. You can create an account if you’d like to use the system to track your own set of Bible tags.

Technologies used: Ruby on Rails, ESV online Bible API

Josh did: everything, code and design
